Yesterday our amazing FIAT (Faith in Action Team) had the opportunity to assist members of St Vincent de Paul by packing grocery hampers for people in the Richmond community. 🛒💙 During the visit, the students also met Mr Fred McEnearney, President of Vinnies Richmond, who shared a little about Blessed Frédéric Ozanam, the founder of St Vincent de Paul, and the inspiration behind the important work of Vinnies. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to serve others while learning more about the impact of faith in action. We are so proud of the compassion and generosity they showed. #FaithInActionCSPD #Vinnies ✨

🎶 Wednesdays are full of music at St Monica’s! 🎶 Our Year 5 students have been enthusiastically embracing their music learning each Wednesday. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they explore new rhythms and skills. Even better, our teachers are learning alongside them, making it a joyful and shared experience for everyone. 🎵✨ Learning, laughter and lots of music – what a great way to spend a Wednesday at St Monica’s!

🏊♂️ Congratulations Beau! 🏊♂️ What an incredible achievement at the Diocesan Swimming Carnival! Beau had a fantastic day in the pool and has successfully qualified for the NSWCPS MacKillop Swimming Carnival in all of his events — an outstanding result. Beau will now compete in: • 100m Freestyle • 50m Freestyle • Butterfly • Breaststroke • Backstroke • 200m Individual Medley We are so proud of your hard work, determination and sportsmanship. Over the past few weeks, Year One have been learning about the Bardi People and their seasons. Students have been working hard to create informative texts, using time connectives and correct punctuation. Today they used their texts and presented their work to their peers. We loved having Cricket NSW kick off our cricket skills sessions at recess and lunch this week! 🏏 There were plenty of smiles as the students enthusiastically practised their batting and catching skills building confidence, teamwork and coordination. And after all that exercise a well earned super dooper treat was just right! We look forward to doing it all again iover the next 4 weeks! 🏏⭐️
