WOW! Another exciting week at St Monica’s.
The children and staff of St Monica’s had a wonderful surprise visit from the NSW Police band who visited our school to perform for our children!
It was truly an amazing performance.
Thank you to all of our children for their exemplary behaviour during the performance.

Our gardening club came together for one last time this term. Our keen gardeners are taking home some pots of seeds to care for over the holidays. We wonder what wonderful seedlings they might return with in Term 2 🌱🍓🥦

Stage 3 had a wonderful day visiting the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery and Museum on Wednesday. Students were excited to see their own artwork hanging for everyone to see. They also enjoyed learning how primary and secondary sources help us to understand the history of our local area.

Today we celebrated the message of Easter together as a school community. We reflected on the joy of new life we find in Jesus and gave thanks for our first term together. We ask God to watch over us as we head into our holidays and look forward to returning next term rested and refreshed ready for learning.😃📕✏️

Today our indigenous students celebrated together by joining a yarning circle with Mr Ted Langford from CSPD's Jarara Cultural Centre. The students learnt about indigenous art, weapons, dance, local animals, the Deerubbin and their culture. They will continue to work together throughout the year to build ways to share their culture with the school community. Thank you Uncle Ted!

We wish Beau all the very best for the upcoming NSW CPS Swimming Championships on April 3rd. Beau will be swimming in freestyle, breast stroke, butterfly, backstroke and the 200m individual medley!!! Wow!!!!!! Best wishes Beau! We are so proud of you!
